I have been a company director, a manager, a supervisor, a team leader and a bod in my 55 years so my last appointment in Neurology was like. I can't speak and I'm in a room with three other people so I get my boogie board out and start to write. Whilst doing this a line of drool comes out my mouth and the nurse immediately gets me a paper towel. MND does more than just kill you.

Love and hugs from me too, Matthew.
Others might not agree but I find the lack of dignity due to MND the hardest thing to accept. I am often upset about the help I need in the bathroom. It was the thing I feared most when I was diagnosed.... I guess you do learn to accept it but I have struggled with it.
Its best not to stop and think and focus on the positives but we are only human.
