Everyday I see people talking, eating, kissing and making love. I thought perhaps you need to know why I have bad days. Stay Strong 😁x

You don't know what you've got till it's gone. Sounds like it should be a song lyric. 😉
I feel this a lot. I know you should focus on what you can do, but when you've spent most of your working life planning for a great retirement it's a hell of a blow. My wife and I had three months of retirement together before I went to the GP with the first symptoms. We'd just bought our ideal home and I'd converted the garage into a great workshop for my engineering and DIY hobbies. We'd been able to have friends staying for the first time and the local area has some great restaurants and cafes we were beginning to explore. We felt like we'd won the lottery and then it's all taken away with no apparent cause. I know this sounds very self-centred, but I'm generally not a selfish person. Even the time I have left feels like it's being stolen by this damned virus. I suppose a lot of people have lost loved ones unexpectedly in the last year, so maybe I should just be grateful that I've managed to avoid it.Each day is made easier with a bit of humour.

I don't think there's anything selfish about having dreams Gary. Same here. Moved all this way, brought everything with us and now we need to go back. I'm worried about the virus and how Stephens health is going to be acting. Come to that I don't even know if we can get back into the UK. Looking at having to live with our kids. 😊 I'm not knocking it but realise this is going to be difficult even if we all had good health.
yes Matthew we know your situation and we all want to support you. Remember that a lot of us are together but this disease has split a lot of us apart. We don't talk about a lot of things, we are perhaps not as kind to each other as we should, we all took a lot for granted and find ourselves in a horrible place. Put the strain of the disease and covid on top I think we'll all be at each other's throats.
here we have each other at least.
😚😙😗when i can think of something profound i will update this.
