    Has anyone heard about this? Apparently I'm Grade four. The fun of having someone speak on the phone on your behalf. 😁x

          Hi Matthew,

          I assume this is what you are referring to.
          Coronavirus emergency grant


          In response to the coronavirus pandemic, we are currently offering a one-off emergency grant up to the value of Β£250. This is to help people living with MND who may be struggling with additional living costs as a result of coronavirus (COVID-19), such as food shopping or bills.

          We do not normally accept claims for equipment or goods before they are purchased, but we will consider these in the current crisis. This will be reviewed at the end of January 2021.

          If you would like to apply, a simple form asks you to outline how COVID-19 has affected your income or finances. You can download the form here:

            I'm no expert, but I think most things on the list should be funded by either local social services or the NHS. I think the MNDA steps in to help when pwMND are having trouble getting funding.
            Each day is made easier with a bit of humour.

                It is provided on a 'per property' basis meaning that the owner of multiple properties of this description may be eligible for multiple grants.
