I'm back home after my final session of radiology and I have to urge you to do the same if you are struggling with saliva and dribbling. The difference is astonishing and just like that I no longer need drugs to dry up. It is completely porous and even a mouth breather like me had no problems breathing with it on. 😄

Hi Mathew, Well done, you’re very brave having it done. I’m really interested in how this pans out for you, please keep us updated I desperately want to have either radiotherapy or botox but my nurse specialise is worrying me by going on about how permanent radiotherapy is and about bad side affects and similar comments about botox so I’m quite nervous which or any way to go? saliva is now affecting my living more than ever. She says that the mucus that keeps getting stuck in my throat and causing choking will likely get worse if I had the botox.

Well so far the only side effect is sore to touch patches under my ears that don't hurt otherwise. I have just pegged pineapple juice which I know reduces my flem. It will take a few days to settle down but early signs are good. I'm not dribbling and I'm using a lot less tissues. I still have saliva being produced just not as much. 😁x

well that sounds great I'm so pleased it's a positive result. Think if I was David I'd get a 2nd opinion especially as we have all heard from Matthew and it looks good. After all if we don't try we will never find out. I have no idea what kind of effects radiotherapy or BOTOX could have, guess Gary might know about radiotherapy, but suffering without giving it a go?
and you might get to keep the mask 😉

Give it until next Friday for a tentative result. I did bring my mask home but after photographing it I have no idea what to do with it! 😁x

Well that gave me a good laugh. You could frighten the life out of a good few people with that on. You should put it somewhere so if anyone breaks in they'll get the fright of their lives.
