    How low can you go?

I've been dealing with freezing hands and feet, disturbed sleep, and that's without talking, eating and making love. But last night found a new low. I had an overwhelmingly desire for a cold drink, I wanted that feeling as it goes down your throat. Back in my days of alcoholic denial I kept my beer in the fridge. I know I'm going to heaven when I die because I am living in hell. 😁x

I was looking at YouTube and it was all about cold icy drinks being good for the gunge that builds up in the throat and cold showers and outdoor swimming being good for the body. Can't say I'm going to try it but that might be why you want a cold drink. 😊

Probably nearly 50 years ago there was a lager called Harp and had the slogan Harp stays sharp to the bottom of the glass. Well one very hot summer my friends and I arrived at a pub and I had a pint. It was ice cold and i greedily and thirstily gulped it down. I can still remember the chest pains as it went down. I never ever drank it again.

Some beer has a lot of gas which can really upset the insides. Probably best having British traditional warm beer. πŸ™„

Denise and Janette, cruel disease taking away your G+T pleasures. I have one frequently before our evening meal. I now will think of you girls as I partake whilst I’m still able. Lynne
