I live in a three generational house, my father in law was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease about 4 years ago. His memory is quite bad and in the next few years will definitely need a full-time carer. My mother-in-law was diagnosed with metastasised rectal cancer. She has had radiotherapy in the hopes to avoid a bowel obstruction. In December she was given a 6-month prognosis and subsequently is refuse to have chemotherapy. It would be in my opinion too much to ask my wife to become my full-time carer bring up three children try do a part-time job to bring income as well as being a carer for her father and possibly her mother to.
