A rise and recline chair was my late Husband's life line, he could sit raised so was more comfortable with his chest. We had bought a small table , but it became too small for all his Radio Am bits and pieces, so they brought him another. Both items were collected after he passed away.

Beemer The loo looks very sleek - the fact that the seat is level is great.

Are all of its workings hidden in the boxing?

My bio bidet 1000 toilet. However having trouble finding a shower chair that’s fits over it for when and if I can’t transfer on to it.Had OT and reps out and still no suitable shower chair. The bidet system is brill and leaves me clean and dry after toilet use.

Ellie and SLP (please excuse me that I forget your name) where did you buy that eye gaze device and what will it connect to? Β£129 for that is well worth it. Thanks, Lynne x
ALS diagnosed November 2017, limb onset. For the 4 yrs previously I was losing my balance.

I'm staying positive and taking each day as it comes.

                              Hi Lynne,

If you're struggling with using a tablet/laptop, your first port of call is the assistive technology people, who will assess your needs and should also provide you with appropriate gadgets. I was introduced to eye gaze this way, then researched how I could get better PC access for how I use a PC, and bought the eye tracker on Amazon (unfortunately it's no longer available)

Eye gaze systems enable you to use the internet, email, type & chat, listen to books & music, watch TV etc. as well as having environmental controls allowing for control of the TV, compatible sockets etc.

And, like everything, it's best to start the ball rolling on it sooner rather than later, the process can take a while.

                              Love Ellie.

I've tried to get the SaLT to refer me but she won't until I can't use anything. If there's a break in my posts in a few weeks time it means I'm waiting for their help. πŸ™„
