    Care for or Cared for?

I have stirred deep emotions but let me be clear. The difference between a cared for and the carer is simple : One can walk away and one can't. I leave it to you to work it out. Elvis has left the building. 😁x

matthew55 I put it to you, the pain dies with you but lives on in the heart of the carer.

Well that depends on the carer surely? πŸ€”πŸ˜x

I have just had one of those tests from the clinical psychologist to see how I am functioning mentally. The test for empathy and ability to see other's point of view makes me laugh in its simplicity, maybe it's excellent at measuring this, I really don't know. But I guess we with mnd have to be aware that this is one thing that may affect us? and for carers to be aware of too? xx
Diagnosed July 2020, ALS bulbar onset. PEG and ventilator (mainly at night), and pretty poor speech, but legs still about functioning!

I honestly didn't mean family members or friends. I'm referring to professional carers. Apologies to anyone who thought otherwise. I think I need one of those tests don't you? 😁😁x
