When I think if what I have put in my stomach via normal route for years, I think a little staining is the least problem. 😉😄x

I'm not as concerned as Louise, she likes to see that the tube is clear.

Yes, Gary, completely normal for the plastic to turn a brown-yellowish colour, even without pouring coffee down it!
I have a new button every few months and am always amazed at the 'before and after' comparisons - mind you, the internal balloon looks almost black when it's removed from my stomach, whatever goes on in there 😲

Well mine has never been the same since a lamb bhuna a while back. It's never bothered me. 😄x

I saw it on YouTube and a nurse recommended half cup of water and half teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda. I've done Stephen and it's great. Doctor from Bristol eye hospital also recommends it for eye problems.

PEG staining
My feeding tube has become stained. I think it's from coffee which I started to put through it about a week ago. Is this common? I've always flushed it well after anything going through it. I'm just surprised that the tube has discoloured.Tags: None
