    Dnr

A word of caution regarding having a DNR. I noticed that during my recent hospital stay that having a DNR coupled with the reason I was there meant that overnight when I was struggling to breath and waking up at 2am and staying awake I was completely ignored. Chaps around me were treated like I'd expect if they did similar. Just saying. 😁x

I’m saddened to hear this Matthew, as DNA CPR is about not resuscitating if a person’s heart stops. It is not about stopping or not giving treatment for example antibiotics, oxygen etc. Do you have an Advance Directive (living will) in place? This is a legal document in England and Wales but not in Scotland. Also important to have an advance care plan in place, so your wishes can hopefully be met. Glad you are ok as we have all been very worried about you. Lynda x

That's terrible Matthew. I am so sorry that happened especially at a time when you needed comfort and support x

      • Yes, this is why I am dead against euthanasia being linked to MND. It gives society an excuse to mistreat us.

Euthanasia should be a Human Right. What's good for serial killers should be good for us. 😠
