    Air mattress

My first night on my brand new air mattress bed complete with controls was a disappointment. The pump makes a buzzing sound that is impossible to ignore. Does anyone know of a solution because the bed was extremely comfortable. I try it so you don't have to. πŸ‘πŸ˜x

How about putting headphones on and listening to the radio or music on your mobile all night? I do that. I have radio 4/World Service on and it helps me. The dawn chorus outside our bedroom window would wake me every morning about 4am without headphones on and the people upstairs are noisy sometimes (from 5am occasionally) and it helps to blank that out too. Good luck Mathew, Lynne x

I have an Amazon Echo which lets you request music to be played by virtually every published artist. You can ask it to play radio stations. I’m currently listing to That’s the way I like it on Gold radio. But what will help you is it can play things like sound of the sea, rainstorms etc

Assuming it isn't an alarm - the alarm on my pump unit is a buzz sound - make sure the unit isn't against a solid surface and cover it with an unused duvet or thick blankets etc. to dampen the noise. It could go on a pillow on the floor, if hose is long enough. Careful not to block any air outlet.

          Glad it's comfy. xx

Wayne, I slept on an air mattress on my side of a double bed, husband slept on his side of the 'normal' mattress. I was a bit higher than him, as my air mattress just sat on top of the double mattress - it didn't feel strange, well, his belly was still higher than mine. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ xx

This is a purpose built single like a hospital bed the end comes up as does the knee area. I got it free via my community neuro team. πŸ‘πŸ€—πŸ˜x

Well last night the buzz became a very low hum. The trouble is that after living within the M25 for so long I crave silence when I sleep and in my condition I believe my comfort is a priority. Luckily I had a solution right under my nose! A double blow up mattress that is not only very comfortable but doesn't hurt! πŸ€—πŸ˜x

Can't remember but it was expensive and has it's own internal pump.
