    Chest banding

Can anyone advise me. I was diagnosed just over a year ago with limb onset mnd. Since before this I was experiencing a tight band feeling around my diaphragm front of ribs below breast area. My neurologist and MND nurse assure me that this is not a symptom of MND. They have tried me with sativex Baclofen omeprazole. Nothing helps. Not painful just very tight. It is found in ms patients but I don't have that. Does anyone else have this and if so did anything help? Thank you

A warm welcome to the forum, Kath.

I can get spasms in my intercostal muscles but I wouldn't equate it to chest banding, in my case at least.

It did not happen until those muscles were affected, ie, became weak.

Sorry I can't help you on this issue.

Sativex: you're 'lucky' to have been given a chance to try it, may I ask if you're in Scotland?

    Love Ellie.
