Fingers crossed for you, Matthew xDiagnosed July 2020, ALS bulbar onset. PEG and ventilator (mainly at night), and pretty poor speech, but legs still about functioning!Comment

Hi Matthew , if you get offered a flat in an extra sheltered housing complex at Leigh you might via your social worker prefer to use the on site carers for your support?
Guess you havenβt heard any more on an offer of a flat yet?

Honestly, it'll have to be perfect or you'll be put through all this again...
A lip on the shower, tight turning areas, inadequate number of sockets etc. can seem irrelevant until they become very relevant. xxβDiagnosed 03/2007. Sporadic Definite ALS/MND Spinal (hand) Onset.

Letβs hope the bid is successful..you could do with a lucky break .Suitable housing will make a real difference to you hopefully.
