Some of the reasons why I'm happy to die: I've been on the roof of the World Trade Center, the top of the Eifle Tower, the top of St Paul's, the top of The Empire State Building, onboard a scheduled Concorde, taken a ferry ride all around Manhattan Island, eaten in the Oxo restaurant in Central London and been a father. I've done plenty more but I can honestly say I am content. 🤗😁😘😍xx

Good for you Matthew.I too am glad I reached retirement age. Also pleased our kids are adults now .My husband and I say how we have enjoyed our 45 year marriage with highs and lows.We too have enjoyed holidays, friendships , years of fostering and many other experiences. We have been able to help others and received kindness ourselves.
To me my Catholic faith has been a tremendous strength throughout my life.
Still making memories and feeling blessed particularly when I hear world news of tragic events.
4 grandchildren calling in soon..they bring pleasure ..even just watching them play in the garden. Two friends came this morning which was lovely.
This journey continues ...today is another day we have.
Best wishes
Mary
