I'm now getting small, hard, patches of dried skin on various parts of my body. They scratch off, leaving no mark, causing no pain but scattering tiny white bits. My life was very boring before MND! ππππ€xx

Hi matthew55
Hubs has dry skin (since diagnosis), using Oilatum Shower Gel in the last week.
The snow blizzard of dry skin on the sheets has reduced.
Will speak to MND nurse about something on prescription as it is expensive but appears to work a bit.
Got it at the chemist.
Life is never boring with MND (we both think what next)
The itchy running nose is bane of hubs life.
Have a lovely dayDonna

Get your ladies to apply a good emolient cream or E45 every day after your bed bath then, once your skin improves, 3-4x per week with a decent moisturiser should keep it at bay.
As Donna says, watch what body wash is used and it's important to rinse soap off skin - may be difficult in bed??
