Hello

I have been diagnosed with probable MND.

In the context of major issues this may seem trivial but I find it very difficult to sleep at night. I sleep on my side and my neck and shoulder ache and are very uncomfortable. We tried various Pillow combinations without success.



Any ideas or solutions

On the contrary Steve, good quality sleep is very important to us all!

I always say to start with your mattress - have you an OT or nurse who can assess you? xx

There are special pillows out there as well. I'm getting a v shaped absorbing one custom made. I also use zopliclone sleeping pills to knock me out. Stay Strong. 👍😁😀🤗xx

hi steve. i use a v pillow. i was a side sleeper but i was advised try sleep slightly propped up. so i purchased an adjustable bed second hand and got a new mattress. i also got a fab air mattress topper via my OT this helps me greatly. i do take a muscle relaxant at bedtime which helps. like others i will say do a bit of research and try everything as sleep is very much needed.
