NIV started at night dry mouth is an issue so speaking to Home Ventilation Team .
Orthtotics had the moulds sorted they were a lovely pink much to my wife's amusement..now we can all do with a smile l think... Orthtotics lady asks what footwear l have.. wife replies he's got trainers , church shoes ? , and dogging shoes🙃🙃 l am not stable sometimes as it is and about fell off the bed whilst uttering the words "she means dog walking" needless to say the next appointment shall be interesting 😃

A humidifier for the NIV machine should solve that problem, certainly was an instant cure for my Sahara mouth. The air passes over moist air before it goes through the hose, so you're not breathing in arid air - the vent team will provide it. xx

Oh ellie I have had a similar problem. My predicted text changed a word to doggin and I didn't realise. Had a very confused weird conversation with someone. Most embarrassing 😳

I switch between xylimelts bought through Amazon and Biotine gel. GP can prescribe Biotene but not xylimelts.

Before I woke dry mouthed but with them I am drooling when I wake. Only drawback is finding the small pills stuck to me, the pillowcase or bedclothes. Small price. 😁🤗xx

Hi, I had and continue to have an awful dry mouth when I lie down to sleep.I use biotene gel, and biotene mouthwash.
When I used the NIV with a humidifier the dryness continued but I know for some people the humidifier works well for relieving dry mouth.
Whenever I wake I need to swish water around my mouth to relieve the dryness.
