    Hi Ellie

They are great. I got ours on Ebay, just check they state Jersey.

Thinking of getting more plus some more pillow cases for Hubs.

    Hugs

I bought jersey fitted sheets for my profiling bed which I bought online. They also came in different mattress depths x

If at least one of your arms are still strong get grab bars fitted. I keep my bed raised at the head end and I sleep easy. 😴🛏️👍🤗xx

Heather R I first looked at Amazon for fitted single sheets for my 198cm hospital bed and they quoted length of sheets as 190cm so I assumed that was standard but maybe they are not. I'm really looking forward to my hospital bed as I cannot sit myself up and I'm on a knife edge with being raised on the Molift from sitting on the edge of the bed. A bed that can lift me up will be great. I'm expecting it on Thursday so I hope the spare room will be cleared by then . I'll let you know how it goes xx

Sttandard sheets fit them no problem Heather. My air mattress is 200 x 90 x 20.3cm, for example, and I've no problem with fitted or flat sheets.

That sounds like a wise move. xx

I am going to get a hospital bed any day now, never occurred to me about sheets fitting. I am loathe to give up my nice comfortable double bed, and am thinking of hanging on to it until I have tried the hospital bed, to see if I can stand changing (though I can see the advantage of rising up). Hope you're happy with yours Rosemary (we can compare notes!) xx

As well as the new sheets, treat yourself to a nice duvet cover or blanket, if you can - it's not every day we take the arrival of a hospital bed! 😚😚
Thanks Ellie , I have treated myself to two new pillow slips and an experimental gizmo that I may describe later if successful

Did they say which mattress type it is? xx
I believe it is a foam pressure relieving mattress, not one with a pump. I've found a fitted sheet with the correct dimensions now so we'll see how that goes!

I hope to give up with my air mattress because of the noisy pump. ⛽🎈😂😍xx

    Re Longer Length Beds:

Many hospital type beds can extend in length for taller people.

Suefromwakey matthew55 Check the bed frame near the foot of the bed - are there knobs which turn and loosen, so the bed extends? Then you can get a covered foam block for the gap between mattress and bed frame, if necessary with a pressure relief cover. xx
