Christmas presents

My biggest disappointment was seeing a chocolate doll in my pillow case at the end of my bed....only to discover it was an actual doll...the loss of chocolate was devastating to my 5 yr old self😭😭😭

Years ago I used to have a lot of things on my present list, usually difficult to find things. Then, I would not like my immediate family members to buy practical/necessary items. Now that I have been diagnosed with MND, all I want is practical items, and people's time to help me with things I can no longer do.
My daughter now complains that I am only asking for practical stuff!
This is the first year ever when I will be overjoyed with things to help me cope, and having time with my husband and daughter.
I realise, I need to tell her things have changed, then she might understand.

Well, i told her. She said, "that doesn't mean you can't have fun things". i agree. She suggested matching track suit trousers! i always wear these for dog walking!! Good idea eh? With her idea of funky, not sure she will want the same as me!
