    Hi I am so tired from Butec when will it make me not so tired.

    I don't get tired on my butec 15. But I have taken opiods before. I do take berocca which helps with tiredness as got lots b vitamins in. What are you taking butec for?
    Diagnosed May 2021 bulbar onset als.

          Ashleigh, has a Physiotherapist or OT ever tried to address the cause of your pain? Maybe the pain could be lessened somewhat by improving your seating or lying position which, I'm guessing is one reason for the air mattress.

          As for the Butec, the body does build up tolerance so, in time, the tiredness should lessen, but so tooperhaps its painkilling power... xx

            Ellie it doesn't help my back pain I get Sciatica on both sides. The physio has given me exercises for my Sciatica. I need buy Sciaticalm hopefully that will help. It does have a money back guarantee

              Yes I agree the butec patches are not helping my nerve pain.

                Aalistoun shelly21 Have either of you ever tried gabapentin or pregabalin for your nerve pain? xx

                  Ellie I was tried on both of those for my back and other pains and they made me very sleepy all through the next day xx
                  ALS diagnosed November 2017, limb onset. For the 4 yrs previously I was losing my balance.

                  I'm staying positive and taking each day as it comes.

                    Ellie thats my next try re gabapentin. I was on very high dose a few years ago. It had some nasty side effects that due to me working shifts etc I couldn't tolerate. But things are different now. So I will get in touch with g.p. x
