Still in hospital neck very sore

    Thanks all but no solution and I can’t type much longer so love to you all xxx
    ALS diagnosed November 2017, limb onset. For the 4 yrs previously I was losing my balance.

    I'm staying positive and taking each day as it comes.

        Good to hear from you Lynne, like others I’ve been concerned about you. I’m sorry you are in such pain. I use a pillow like the top one in Ellie’s post. It has been very helpful for my stiff neck. Sending a gentle hug xx
        Diagnosed 18th May 2021 with sporadic ALS. Limb onset. Terrified of not being able to breathe easily.

          ​​​​​​​I've known people with arthritic necks get relief by using a crepe bandage (or similar) tied loosely round the middle of a feather pillow to form a butterfly shape.
          Started limping 2017, diagnosed August 2021. Wheelchair user and reduced shoulder and hand function. Trying to be positive 😺.

            Lynne K I was so pleased to see your post yesterday, I’m sure lots of people here have been worried about you. I hope some of the suggestions made can be realised and make you feel more comfortable soon.

                if you can manage a WhatsApp message and tell me what you want - I can bring it to the hospital. I’m probably the closest distance wise. Honestly…it’s no trouble.
