Anyone on Niv have the same issue , I only use my machine at night , but in the morning I have to deflate. Sometimes the dog barks like mad because it be unusually loud and long. I think this is the norm or is there something not right.

Maybe the NIV's IPAP or breaths per min/timing/backup setting needs to be tweaked, or a change of mask type, to reduce the amount of air you're swallowing.Diagnosed 03/2007. Sporadic Definite ALS/MND Spinal (hand) Onset.
Significant bulbar impairment - No functional limbs - No speech - Feeding tube - Overnight NIV - Eye gaze user.
