    thank you both but I am not sure this applies. It is a pension from a job I left 32 years ago. I have been told I may be able to transfer the sums to another pension and then draw a lump sum but that depends on the Trustees agreeing because they say I have passed the normal retirement date. This pension was from the days when women’s state retirement age was 60. I deferred drawing this pension until I reach 66. It feels like I can’t win 🤷‍♀️
    Bulbar onset diagnosed Nov 21. No speech but limbs ok so far.

      Arrgh, that is SO unfair 😟 I think you should definitely get independent advice 🤞🤞
