Peanut - I had to laugh about builder fitness ratings. Mine are lovely, but not what I would get too excited about. My plumber today is rather grumpy....

I hope yours goes OK. I'm finding the noise and dust a bit difficult, but just looking forward to the end result. Tile shopping later...

Good luck - enjoy a good soak when it's done!

(Mine starts in a couple of weeks; will update on builder fitness rating.)

WheelsOfSteel I'm still working towards my building project too. Just waiting on the quotes to come in, they are all so booked up, fingers crossed they can start before the New Year!!

While the weather is nice they can wheel you into the garden and hose you down . Hope it all goes well and you are soon showering your posh new wet room.

Awww, your comments have made me smile. Like the idea of some online shopping to distract me from the banging and get me some new "must have" accessories

Claireflo - that is some serious work!! My wheelchair is sadly stuck downstairs. When I can no longer use my stairlift I will stay upstairs and abandon it. But hoping that is a long way off!

If the weather stays warm I think my hubby assumes a hose in the garden will suffice for washes in the next 3 weeks 不 but good idea to go elsewhere if I am struggling.

And finally, the builders are lovely, but I don't think my husband feels in the least bit threatened 不不不

It will be sooo worth the hassle TinyLady - hopefully they'll be done a few days early

Any eye candy or do you only get to see somewhere to park a bike

Add some nice new fluffy towels to that shopping list xx

It will be stressful but the end result will be so worth it. Don't like your chances of them bringing you a hot drink tho 不

I had 22 weeks of bungalow renovation (to increase living space, increase bathroom, put a new kitchen in and an outside patio with ramps - with the aim of making life as easy as possible for my husband who uses a wheelchair. It was highly stressful with dust and constant banging but so worth it in the end.

It will be worth it TinyLady when you can shower safely and in comfort.

It is really hard, however having work people in your home when you need privacy. Hopefully they will respect this and you can tick off the days. In the meantime online shopping for shower gel and candles for your wetroom. Xx
