Interesting day yesterday, we went to the cinema! I had been reluctant to go but a friend said they’d seen someone their in a wheelchair in a designated space so we decided to give it a go. It was at Cineworld in Solihull and access was very easy. There are multiple screens, each with one or two wheelchair spaces. We have a CEA card so a companion can go free. Will definitely go again.

Nice one Tony and great that you will go again.
I haven't been to the cinema for a while but used to like going with the kids, after all, I just had to sit and not talk, perfect for me 😁
I found that in many cinemas, the wheelchair spots were often in the first row which I personally don't much like, so I tended to opt for films where the wheelchair spot was in the back row. xx
Diagnosed 03/2007. Sporadic Definite ALS/MND Spinal (hand) Onset.
Significant bulbar impairment - No functional limbs - No speech - Feeding tube - Overnight NIV - Eye gaze user.

Been so long since I've been to the cinema. Can you book online and does it show if disabled spaces are available? 🤔 and is there anything worth watching? I remember going to the cinema near Bristol and in the afternoon it would be near enough empty. I thought fisherman's friends were cough sweets. 🤔when i can think of something profound i will update this.
