    Little update

    Hi Guys.

    little update from my side.

next week I have an assessment for the WVE-004-001 clinical trial. Hopefully I fit the bill. For now my body still works reasonably well also of course this disease made me a lot weaker.

Apart from this I have started to take 2000mg/day Glutathione supplement. For commercial reasons there is no scientific evidence out there that this help against MND in any way but reading into what this supplement is and what it does I thought no harm.

i will write a log book and record a number of parameters.

    best wishes
    Marc

Marc from London Oh Marc, I really hope you're selected for the trial and that you get the actual drug.

Antisense is quite promising for C9orf72. ALS.

    Keep us posted. xx

Thx for the share. Agreed there is just to little research out there. I will still continue taking these. Nothing to loose really πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

I take Lions Mane Mushroom supplements. I learned about them when I was in a University back around 2018 as a nootropic. They did help. While I was studying up on the LMM I noted that they stimulated NGF (nerve growth factor) and BDNF(brain derived nerve factor). NGF and BDNF stimulate the motor neurons to grow. This is important for collateral sprouting to stimulate the surrounding nerves to grown into muscle that has lost connection with the motor nerve. You can find it on ALS untangled also. There have been hundreds of studies on the LMM as well to support this.
