It's HOT HOT HOT here in Suffolk, how are you copping with the heat?

Your wife is Wonder Woman Terry she's a real marathon runner!

When we in are in 90's here it difficult and uncomfortable to be out just walking in it let alone running it.

It wouldn't be so bad if we just had high heat, but we have the high humidity factor that really makes the air quality so poor. We get heat warnings from the township to stay indoors in air conditioning particularly for the elderly, those with breathing issues, infants ,and our pets.

Not to bad today in low 90's, but we still have all of August to go which is really just so hot and steamy. Sometimes the tar is melting on our roads!

Going to go see Lion King today our movie theaters are freezing! and you need to wear a sweater but looking forward to it

She only ran 5 K, mind you there is a very steep and long hill in that, that she could not walk up without stopping 12 years ago. She averaged 8.1 minutes a mile and completed one mile in under 7. 5 minutes. Also done her best time around it all in 29 degrees C.

I'm in the gym drinking coffee and she is outside running with a group in the cool. Probably 10 = 12 miles.

I think that she started running nine years ago now.

Thanks Debbie. I'm glad the weather has cooled down today and hopefully it will be easier to get to sleep tonight. Even even with a fan on I found it too hot too sleep much last night.

It was too hot for me to go out yesterday - I was glad to get out into the garden today and into a refreshing cool breeze, which cheered me up!

I agree that some days can be much tougher than others and it's not always easy to be brave and stay positive about things. My happiest days are Saturday and Sunday because my husband works full-time and the weekend is when we have much more time together as a family.

How is your leg? - hopefully it is mending well.

I am eggstremely relieved that it was only the eggs that were broken - you are an eggstra special person Barry, who always eggsells in being thoughtful, kind and caring. With all that eggsitement yesterday, please take clucky-mother-hen Kayleigh's advice to look after yourself and not over-eggsert yourself with any eggsessive eggsercise.

Perhaps have a relaxing day today and treat yourself to something eggstravagant to eat - smoked salmon and scrambled eggs might be an eggsellent choice?

As many as 8 eggs were broken? - are you sure you are not eggsaggerating? Did you eggsamine them all properly to make sure no eggs were eggscluded by mistake? - do you think any discarded eggs can be eggstracted or eggscavated from your compost heap? ... and its definitely worth checking if any eggshumed eggs are past their eggspiry date, as the shop will probably eggschange them!

Only yoking Barry! - but please eggscuse and eggsonerate me for possibly being too eggsessive with the questions - I don't want you to think I am cross-eggsamining you! Even taking into account any eggseptional circumstances, I will understand if you think I should be eggsiled or eggspelled from the forum - for over-egging the pudding and eggseeding my quota of eggstraordinary eggy words!

Maybe I should make an eggsecutive decision to make a quick eggsit - and perhaps I'll become an eggs-pat in eggsclusive MontenEggro!

Terry your Celsius temperatures make me want to turn up the heat and bundle up with hat and gloves before going outside lol

I googled and put it on the conversion scale to Fahrenheit, you're very hot there too. Maybe related to global warming ??

Yesterday was pretty hot here, over 35 outside in the shade and nearly 28 indoors. WE had a thunder storm at 8pm, again very little rain. Went to bed after midnight, 27 inside, 24.5 out.

Looks cooler today, wife's just gone out running, just under 30 degs.

I am impressed that you are out and about, Barry;

Bugger about the tyre, you can get stuff that repairs punctures as they happen put in.

No good crying over spilt milk or broken eggs as long as you're OK. One thing about all you northerners scrubbing your door steps every day, you haven't wasted the eggs.
