    Hi Dina,

    Sorry to hear you haven't got any carers yet - hopefully social services will sort things out very soon!

    I can understand why the machine hasn't been set up yet. I find I need more and more help to do things and It's a case of prioritising what is most important to get done - plus, there are only a certain number of hours in the day!

    I hope you have an enjoyable weekend with your son visiting.

      Hi everyone,

      Just checking in to say that both procedures have been carried out today. No apparent hitches. Just feeling a bit tender and absolutely exhausted.

            It's great that your 2 procedures are all done and dusted Dina. Hopefully you won't be in hospital long and you will have enough good quality carers in place. Lynne x
            ALS diagnosed November 2017, limb onset. For the 4 yrs previously I was losing my ballance.
            I'm staying positive and taking each day as it comes.

                              Hi Dina,

                              Take whatever pain meds you need to keep pain-free - you'll heal quicker if you're not tensing your tummy muscles in pain. (I still remember that sneezing was uncomfortable!)

                                Hi Andy, Terry and Ellie,

                                Thanks for your messages. I don't really have any pain, just some discomfort - mainly when I am being turned over in bed. I have been taking painkillers when i've needed them.
