    Shoes for swollen feet

    Hi all,
I’m using a powerchair all the time now and have Oedema in my feet which makes them very swollen. I’m finding it really difficult to find any shoes I can get into, and am trying to avoid the velcro wrap around ones for as long as possible.
Can anyone recommend a brand or shop if they’d had a similar issue please.

CW100 an ex colleague of mine had oedema after cancer surgery and she used to wear some shoes that were designed for diabetic swollen feet as they stretched. Might be something to try and Google? Sorry can't be more help.
Diagnosed June 2022. Confirmed MND. Limb onset. Symptoms started November 2020.

Hi CW100 I have some Pavers shoes that are made from woven elastic ribbons - they are a couple of years old now but still going strong and have been in the washing machine too. They slip on so easy to do, if my foot swells up they don't hurt. I have seen them in plain grey but mine are multicoloured and everyone always remarks how nice they are, and of course, they go with everything!
I've looked up online and can only find the two styles below available (mine has a wide strap). Depending upon how they fit, maybe consider a size larger? I have their warm and comfy slipper boots in a size larger so I can wear socks with them as I use them for outside too - the nearest I can find are the third link below.
If you haven't tried the revitive yet, then I too would recommend it - as the newer version has an inbuilt battery you can even use it when travelling in the car or whenever your feet are having to be down for long periods of time. xx
