    Bath chair

After my OT visit last month, I was contacted today to Inform me I'm having a visit from them tomorrow concerning my bath chair. I told them I'm not up for visits at the moment.

They are insisting i need a visit about how the bath chair is working for me and need to fill out some paperwork.

Told them the bath chair gives me stomach cramps, so I don't use it. The lady said that's basically impossible cos the OT knows her clients , she wouldn't give a bath chair out that doesn't work for someone with mnd. Then she said maybe you will improve with the disability in my stomach. I really give up wtf.

If it’s the same type of battery operated bath lift chair that we had then they will need to do an annual service which lasts about 5 mins. It’s just a tick box exercise. Having said that it should always be up to you who visits and when. If you don’t want them now suggest a date for a months time after all they draw up schedules to fit around their needs. Goose and Gander spring to mind.
