Is anyone on LIQUID Mucodyne . ..Michael was on a dose of 5 ml x 3 times daily but it did nothing for the phlegm after taking it for 2 weeks .. it was then increased to 15 mls x 3 times daily and it seems to have helped .. does anyone know what the highest dose one could be prescribed ..

If it's the 250mg/5mls, then he's at the recommend max dose of 2.25g per day. But ask his GP if he needs more, as sometimes benefits outweigh the risks! x

Hi Ellie .. it is the 250mg/ 5ml ... I thought the max was the ,15 ml x 3 times daily ( it did say on the leaflet that was the normal for adults) but just wondered if anyone was on a higher dose .. since starting the 15ml x3 times daily it has helped with not as much phlegm .. just such a job to get phlegm and saliva under control ..
