    L-Glutathione ?

    Hi

Has anyone heard of this supplement ? Have read conflicting reports that it can be good for or very bad for MND.

So difficult to get good info and the medical professionals are never keen to discuss anything not medically approved.

    thanks guys

    Hi Roxy

L-Glutathione is one of the supplements in the Deanna Protocol. This protocol of supplements was created by Dr. Tedone who's daughter has mnd. You will find more information about this supplement, and others used in this protocol on the 'Winning the Fight' site.

My dear friend was on this protocol and took glutathione by injection when she was on the protocol. I can't say if it was good or bad because she didn't stay on the protocol long enough, but I will say I wish she had never came off it.

Fingers crossed, and everything else Jaxx, wishing your daughter the very best with it.

I hope she feels very real benefits from it. You can also get all the information you need about it from the 'Winning the Fight' site. I believe you can even speak with Dr. Tedone via email, at the time when my friend was taking his protocol he was very supportive.

Please keep us posted on how she does with it.

I purchased the whole set from Amazon , Jim didn't have a feeding tube at the time and he couldn't tolerate drinking it , the taste just killed him.We tried mixing in everything .I am slowly reinducing it with his other meds. The set came with some capsules , and some in powdered form.We are hoping for good results. Good night.

glutathione consists of glutamic acid ,cysteine and glycine- an excess of glutamic acid is thought to cause motor neurone disease as the motor centre of the brain does not rid itself of the excess.
but cysteine is the active part and is an anti free radical that is it deactivates free radicals , detoxifies and is an anti-oxidant, it prolongs cell life and is included in Life extending dietary programs in the USA it is said to help utilisation of iron claims of protection against tobacco smoke radiation and x-rays and being anti-cancer are not well substantiated.
to be clear my information does not have an L in front of the name so maybe slightly different The dosage for the above is 150 to 300 MG Daily
