Edaravone prescription

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone has experience of obtaining and administering edaravone in the UK?

I understand that you can purchase from The Social Medwork. However, we would need a prescription from a UK doctor, as well as a PICC line insertion, neither of which our NHS team can assist with.

If anyone knows of any private doctors/clinics who have prescribed this, especially in London, I would be very grateful.

Hi George, I have just ordered Edaravone from India so have yet to start the program. There are man suppliers and much cheaper than the 100k per annum for the REAL drug. You are supposed to take 60mg per day for 14 days and then a break of 14 days. You don't need a prescription when ordering from abroad but a health professional to administer it.
