    Colecalciferol 20,000

Has anyone ever had this drug? - I've done a search on this forum but cant find anything previously posted.

Albert had some bloods done about 4 weeks ago so it must be as a result of that............he had Vitamin D deficiency - he's not sat outside since Feb 2020 on holiday,

The surgery sent him some tablets - as above - no discussion about them - Dr didn't even bother to phone him which I'm not happy about. The label says he has to take 2 tablets a week for the next 7 weeks - the Chemist just brought them to the door

Some searching on Dr Google suggested ALS sufferers get this deficiency but no mention of PMA............perhaps it means he will end up being re-diagnosed with ALS as I think some do.....

    thanks
Husband Albert diagnosed PMA Feb 21

Lots of people in these climes have a vitamin D deficiency (most don't know they have) and, if you're more or less housebound, it's more likely you'll have some degree of deficiency - in fact it's thought that most people living on these islands don't get enough vitamin D.

I take 1000iu of D3 per day. xx

Don't we need to sit outside for at least 20 minutes a day without suncream and uncovered. I guess when the sun is about. 😎
when i can think of something profound i will update this.
