I listened to the debate yesterday and was very disappointed with the Ministers response. In essence we are providing general funding and will not provide specific funds for MND. ๐ข

I wish I knew why some illnesses are more worthy of funding than others. Especially when the illness is untreatable/terminal. Shouldnโt that make it move up the priority list ?
Whilst I wouldnโt wish it on anyone I canโt help thinking that if those who make the decisions could walk in our shoes ( or sit in our wheelchairs ) for even a day, their decisions may be different.
I listened to the debate too, and despite all the efforts of those supporting our cause, was left feeling that , in the great scheme of things, we are of little consequence. Our fate has been decided, therefore why spend money on us, present or future. Lizzie
It's unreal !that an episode of Quincy M.E is !still! relevant 40!years later, in the USA they have orphan drugs development, but big pharma has no interest in developing a drug if there's no obscene payback.
I heard of a lady that lived not a quarter of a mile from me had inoperable !cancer!, was given two months to live, yet the DWP completey refused her any! help, British governments are truly fascist!
