Back in June, Health Canada conditionally approved ALBRIOZA for use in Canada. It is now commercially available, but there are still negotiations going on regarding how the costs will be covered.
The Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health has released reimbursement recommendations today.

Copied from table 3, regarding treatment cost, “The annual cost of PB-TURSO, as calculated by CADTH, was $217,459 in the first year of treatment and $223,900 in subsequent years.”
This assumes the patient is also on Riluzole or Edaravone. I’m at a loss for words.
