    File limits

    Good morning team connect.

I am trying to upload a file with the answers to last weeks emoji quiz but it tells me I only have 9kb of the limit left. Please advise.
I’m going to do this even if it kills me!

Common team connect you can’t leave us dangling for the answers 😁

It's a topic for Admin really, so you might get a faster reply in the Forum Support sub-forum.

To create more space, try this: Go into your profile, click the Media tab, select Any Time from Filter tab to see all your photos, you can delete some to give you more space.

Thank you Ellie for the IT advice (there's nothing this girl can't do) but there is no method to delete files unless I am missing something obvious.

              Hi all,

We've been busy investigating into this issue. All users have a limit of 1mb for files, this is purely so the system doesn't get overloaded with lots of files and causes the forum to slow down.

You may find it easier to upload an image via the little picture button in the toolbar above rather than via attachments as I have a feeling doing it that way allows for a larger size image to be included in threads but I've not tried it to be absolutely certain. Let us know how you get on.

Can I also suggest that any technical issues relating to the forum is posted in the 'Forum Announcements & Support' section in future, as it pings us admins an email alert to let us know, where as in this section it goes to the MND Connect team who don't deal with the technical side of the forum and end up passing the message onto us instead.

              Thanks,

              Forum Admin.

                Hi forum admin,

When my inbox is full I can go in and delete messages but I can’t seem to do this with my file history. I see no reason to keep previous picture files within my profile but it would appear that I can’t delete them.

                Thanks
                Barry

Oh, I see what you mean Barry52 I have deleted albums that way before and, I'm nearly sure, photos too.

There must be a way... x

Barry52 🤔 I found this in the Help pages:
“You are not allowed to edit or delete the Posted Photos album.”

Admin_MND Can this functionality be opened up?

                    Love Ellie.

                              Hi all

We've changed some settings so you should be able to delete your photo albums now. Please give it a go and see that it works.

Any more problems, let us know!

                              Thanks,
