Given the MNDA has not removed Ellie's unkind and professionally libellous comments, the MNDA now owns the comments.

The MNDA is now aware that several of its benefactors have difficulty using the site.

I maintain that this site is based on old technology and a more modern framework would better serve members. It is the design of the forum and its features that make it difficult to use but I know that the MNDA does not care.

That may be so, but you did ask me several questions about eye gaze. I answered and gave explanations, so no need to yell. Anyhoo, moving on…

… Back to your issue about predictive text in Windows. You said you only get 3 word suggestions from which to choose, which is very limiting. I get many more than 3 words as follow-on suggestions if I use the Windows onscreen keyboard, usually I get 7 or 8 word choices and it learns, adding names and frequently used words/phrases. I know that enabling the ‘Show text suggestions as I type’ (in settings) yields only a few words on the screen, I don’t know if that’s where the choice of only 3 words comes in?

Or, if you use a touch screen, and your fingers are able, you can swipe type on the onscreen keyboard. I know it probably falls very short of your wants but maybe, for now, it’s an option – better than a choice of 3. That's all I've got on non-eye gaze keyboards.

Thank you Ellie. I honestly don't mean to be nasty too! Life is difficult enough.

My problem with the floating predictive text is that when I press the keyboard for any reason, the keyboard thinks that I am no longer using it and disappears! Given that the cursor always goes behind the full-stop and comma, a bug, it became a pain to use. So I settled on just using what is best at the moment.

It is frustrating not being able to work on all these bugs and shortcomings but I am busy on my app which is more important. xx

If you type in Word using the grey onscreen keyboard, that problem with the comma jumping doesn’t happen. But it doesn’t automatically leave a space after a comma or a full stop either.

I often type in Word anyway and copy and paste, not only for the forum, but for multiple sites.

For the same reason, I found it too frustrating/annoying Ellie. The only predictive text that is useful to me is the 3 word predictive text.

I find it hard to believe that these functions get used during testing by anyone who actually needs to use it. A lot like train stations with a 18 inch gap.
