    Freaking out

    Hi
I'm waiting for my neuro to confirm I have MND. He won't until I've had emg despite having all the symptoms and I've even got the dreaded tongue fasciculations. I'm at the point where my throat is barely moving anymore and swallowing is getting really hard. I can't use chest muscles much and I'm struggling with breathing a bit. I spend all my time swallowing to get rid of saliva. When the swallowing issues became very apparent a few months back at first I thought maybe I just feel like I can't but when I looked in the mirror I could see it was barely moving. I also put my hand around my throat when I swallow and can't feel much movement. Come to think of it I was always clearing my throat for the last 2 years so maybe that was the start of it. A few months ago I was heaving because I felt sick and noticed my stomach and oesophagus was not contracting at all and the pressure in my throat and chest was unbearable. It made this loud noise like air trying to get though a tiny hole and felt like it clamped shut. I had an upper endoscopy because at the time I thought I had oesophageal cancer but it was clear. Last night I felt sick and went to heave and it happened again..absolutely no movement from stomach whatsoever and the same awful feeling like it almost clamped shut and wasn't working. I had so much pressure in my head I thought my brain was going to explode. Has anyone experienced the inability to vomit thing? I'm sure it's all packing up and this is just something I have to accept

Thank you. There is nothing that says private message just that I can leave a visitor message. Is that what you mean?

Sparkles – I suspect if you can see "visitor message" you are not logged in and are visiting the forum as a visitor?
              Warmly
