    Hi I'm new here!

Hello my name is Jo. I lost my husband to MND in June this year, 7 months after diagnosis, although he had many symptoms before this. I miss him very much, we had 38 years together in a happy marriage. I feel very lost as so many of you must know after caring for him 24 hours daily, with help from carers.
Just to let you know that I have knowledge of services available, which drugs worked for my husband, etc, etc. But most of all I'm here if anyone just wants to talk to somebody who knows exactly what your going through.
    Take care all! Xx

[email protected] A warm welcome to the forum Jo, so sorry to hear of your beloved husband - heartfelt condolences to you.

As you said, caring for him was all encompassing and intensive, so your loss is physical, as well as deeply emotional.

There are others here in the same situation, so you're not alone.

    Love Ellie.
Diagnosed 03/2007. Sporadic Definite ALS/MND Spinal (hand) Onset.
Significant bulbar impairment - No functional limbs - No speech - Feeding tube - Overnight NIV - Eye gaze user
