I was diagnosed Sept 2021 and the darn thing is really beginning to get hold. Right now i have one pressing question, has anyone looked into the use of Anabolic steroids?

ASJ unfortunately this one (linked below) in the USA doesn't indicate sample size, replication elsewhere or peer review / references.
It's understanding the mechanism around (at present) irreversible deterioration at a cellular level and a vague hope that something 'moderates' progression compared to taking nothing.
Heterogeneity of MND and small trial sample sizes make certainty and progress in this area challenging.
Promising research seems to concern cell 'energy levels'.
Understanding the mechanism of MND is arguably a 'helpful' balance against building one's hopes up.
